They begin learning basic wireless routing, basic networking, and skills required for a PC Technician; gradually moving up to high-end routing, switching, and complex network layouts. Students in the Cisco Networking Academy gain great hands-on experience, (up to) 20 Dual-Enrollment credits, valuable job skills, and opportunities to test for certifications! The Cisco Networking Academy also partners with many local Virginia businesses. The Cisco Networking Academy is proud to announce its Fifth Annual Gaming Tournament: CTC GT V!
History
The gaming tournament began five years ago when three CCNA students wanted to design a gaming tournament for students around Chesterfield County to play their favorite PC games, LAN style. As the years have gone by, the tournament has grown from less than 20 participants in CTC GT I to over 90 gamers in CTC GT IV. This year, CTC GT V intends on keeping this rapid growth. Details for CTC GT V can be found on the details page on this website.
